Needs Communicative Digital Technology Program for Intubated Patients with Critical Illnesses: A Quasi-Experimental Study

Patients with critical illnesses and on intubation cannot express their needs through verbal language. Thus, nurses other healthcare professionals might not meet needs, resulting in frustration more stress for patients. This situation may interfere patients’ recovery. In this quasi-experiment study, we developed tested the effectiveness of Needs Communicative Digital Technology Program. Sixty participants who were critically ill intubated recruited from an intensive care unit a secondary hospital province close to Bangkok, Thailand. They alternately assigned weekly experimental (n = 30) control groups 30). The group received program 48 hours, including usual unit. only Questionnaires data collection demographic form, Met Questionnaire, theEffectiveness Communication Questionnaire. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-squared test, Fisher exact t-test, ANCOVA. Findings revealed that after hours implementation, had significantly higher mean scores met effective communication than before starting group. it can be concluded effectively people advanced technology strategies used easily, conveniently, quickly. Nurses use practice further evaluate its widespread country.
